+The Fey are a species comprised originally of Alshee refugees from the dead universe of [[types_of_matter|Tyr]], who later gained physicality through making deals of bodysharing with native denizens of our universe. Most currently existing Fey became Fey through a process known as Ascension, where through joining a court one gradually replaces their fundamental blue matter composition with red matter. This process is irreversible, but comes with a variety of benefits to the ascendant.
