Line 1: Line 1:
-Realms of our Universe fall into three categories: Modern (name pending review), which are realms that are presently connected to the DreamingDisconnected, which are realms that are either no longer or not yet connected to the Dreaming; and Dead, which are realms that have been destroyed. Additionally, there are three known Progenitor realms, which were the first known instances of any given type of realm. While these are all realms which have died, because of their unique status they are listed separately.+Realms are self-contained worlds which exist within the larger universe. They are as numerous as stars in the sky, and appear as such when viewing the sky above the [[Dreaming]]. When a realm is in a state of collapse, especially if that collapse was triggered unnaturally, it may connect to the Dreaming and have [[Dreamwalkers]] summoned from it in order to prevent that collapse from transpiring. Each realm falls into a type category and a status category.
