| When the rebellion against the Old Order reached its peak, Odin attempted to evacuate the Vanir from the Dreaming, unwilling to loss his people maintaining tyrants who he hated working with. Out of the twenty plus ships of the Vanir present before the Death Wave occured only two survived and escaped the dreaming. These ships traveled through the void until they reached an old Vanir research facility in Paradiso, which the nature of the realm was able to hide and protect them from the Death Wave. There the Vanir attempted to make peace with the people but the nature of the Realm was war and they made no headway. Eventually Odin decided that the only way to save the Wasteland was to create the environment for the heroes the wasteland needed to arise. This saw him create the idol Sovereignty and the state that the wasteland was in when it first attached to the dreaming. With him a branch of the World Tree of Yggdrasil was brought to the wasteland and was used to maintain the small chunk of the realm as the rest of the realm decayed until Rexx Sirius attempted to use its connection to the physical realm nexus and the soul canister from the War of the Accords to become the realm and shape it in his own image.
