Atlas The Stonespeaker - Primordial Spirit of Endurance
The First Primordial of Solid, and progenitor of the mantle, was Atlas, Spirit of Endurance, the youngest of the four Matter State Primordials.
Current status [12/24]: living in Atlas City, as God King of at least some of the Anikami. Was preparing for war with the Domed City for the liquid thing, hopefully mollified because we fixed it.
Regarding the Fey - Atlas, as conveyed to an interviewer through a Primordial Pact, believed (at least at the time, which due to context we can assume was prior to the self-imposed exile) that if given the opportunity, he could have seen through the trickery of the Fey, and said that the only thing that stopped him was that he was not given permission. We can presume that this was permission from the other Mantlemournes, but the specifics of why are not stated. He had held the Fey in ill regard to begin with, being inclined towards suspicion towards everyone not part of the Primordials. He said that the Fey had, from the start, presented “only promises made of air and darkness” and that their betrayal was inevitable. While the pact-maker had originally summoned him to ask about what the intent for the universe was prior to the introduction of seasons by the Fey, it was apparently nigh impossible to get Atlas to speak of it (stating that it was a relic of an earlier time) and that he was much more inclined to expound on the fey problem.
Regarding the Primordials - Even apart from his general distrust of outsiders, he further felt separated/othered from the rest of the Mantlemournes by way of his age (youngest) and his complexity (more in line with Nature (Pan) and Reality (Stoic), who are said to have drawn inspiration from his concept and creations for their own creativity). Atlas was also one of the most frequent targets of primordial hunters due to the power that his concept and mantle presented, being that he had created the ability for planets to exist and the elements which made them up. His title as spirit of Endurance was regarding, at least in part, carrying the burdens of the primordials at large (but especially those of the Mantlemourne).
