Rusalka the Tidecaller - Primordial Spirit of Adaptation

Currently known as Vector Prime.

First and only known Primordial of Liquid, originator of the Liquid Mantle. Second Youngest of the Four States of Matter Primordials.

She had the smallest collection amongst the stacks of books provided about the 4 Matter State Primordials. There was one translation of a book titled Adaptation of the Primordial Hunting Guide, which indicated as follows. Every Primordial is different, each strength and weakness follows the understanding of the Concept they are tied to as well an understanding of them as the world views them and how their own powers present and show themselves. One can typically take this from their epithet “Spirit of x” where x equals whatever they are the spirit of as it shows a lot and their weaknesses are always involved with what they represent. In this case with Adaptation being to survive, and by creating enough variables, she would hopefully get overwhelmed and obsessed with trying to adapt to all of the different variables that she would let down her guard.

The hunting guide also indicated that Rusalka was able to change and absorb liquid-adjacent aspects of the environment around her, like changing mud into drinkable water, transmuting toxic waste to harmless foam, or something to mercury, or even any surface liquid into lava provided there is enough heat. She is also documented as being capable of manipulating pressure and buoyancy in liquids, taking any shape, and imitating the forms of others. She was described as always being in a state of motion and could control her speed and mimic some abilities of the the Primordials, like Nimbus’s phasing or Atlas’s [information missing]

While Rusalka was the first of the Mantlemourne Primordials to lose her mantle to the Fey, there was no indication that after she had her mantle taken from her that she had a change in personality or self like seen with Solus becoming Ifrit. She was often viewed as the most melancholic and most devastated by Solus’ fall from grace. She gave Orion the bow of mercury out of necessity of what needed to be done to quench the heart of her brother, rather than the want of stopping him. There was nothing about items important to her or offerings or anything in the hunting guide about weapons particularly useful against hunting Primordials.

Interesting to mention that Rusalka was considered to be the less gifted/lucky twin of the Spirit of the Tempest, despite how close they were and even being named twins. Unsure as to if the Spirit of the Tempest is related to the Nature Primordial or someone else who called themselves the Spirit of Nature.
