Faction Leader(s): Paavali Kuomeni Headquarters: No centralized headquarters but have lodges throughout the Dreaming

Adherents protect the cycle of life and death, the Aether and Erebus, and watch over their communities. They are not as structured as other factions in the Dreaming but Adherents tend to fall into one of three paths:

Wayfinders keep the path of the soul safe and guard their communities against nightmares and other creatures that prey on the world.

Known Wayfinders:

Gardeners tend to the health of the living and aim to ease their burdens so they will not one day become lost on the path to the Underworld.

Known Gardeners:

Shepherds focus on the spiritual wellbeing of their communities and they often take on the role of advisor.

Known Shepherds:

Oath of the Adherents: “I swear to uphold Balance in all of its forms. I will stay true to the Great Cycle and the tenets of its Adherents. I will protect the souls of the living and the dead.”

The current tenets are:

1. Better the lives of communities and citizens within those communities.
2. The Balance between life, death, and everything in between is to be maintained and encouraged
3. All skills are useful and should be encouraged to grow.
