The Beacon is/was a ship designed/helmed by the Ashir (minus Harmony and the Collector) that was intended to go on an expedition to “fix the Dreaming”, although when it was found there was nothing but a collection of artifacts of the Ashir and a recording of an interaction between Wrath and Legion, which indicated that the rest of the Ashir had left the ship some time prior. It was a pivotal part of whatever Abner’s plan was, but that plan appears to have been thoroughly derailed at this point.
