The Nagadan Galaxies

The Nagadan Galaxies (usually shorthanded as Nagada) was the primary realm of the Khemenua pantheon. It was destroyed under currently unclear circumstances sometime before the Death Wave.

PRE-SNAKE-INCIDENT DOCUMENTATION

There is not too much information known about the Nagadan Realm. We know that Nagada was versed in advanced Magitech-like sciences. The aesthetic that could be most related to the Nagadans would be Egyptian from the Mundanias. They are responsible for the old dreamwalkers Ra, Osiris, and Anubis. We have heard almost no information about Ra or Osiris, other than mention of Osiris’s role in the formation of the Dreamwalker Order, but there is a good amount of information about Anubis.

Anubis is the dreamwalker who corrupted the Life Spirit and started going by the name Amarok. Anubis/Amarok has since been defeated…..twice now, and the Life Spirit is hypothetically fixed, although we are not certain as we have not really had any dealings with it. Anubis is also the cause for Shifters throughout some of the realms, like the Afflicted from Victoriana and Mutants from The Wasteland, and many more.

The Nagadan realm fell and its inhabitants evacuated to the Dreaming with the help of their Forges.

Digital Nightmare Synopsis:

Long ago, in a realm far far away, there was a realm based around what the Mundanian Egyptian Mythology is based off of. This realm is called Nagada and they performed some sort of magi-tech. They used this magi-tech to perfect a formula to predict the variable futures of the universe. They then created AI’s to oversee the predictions so they either didn’t risk their own sanity or were able to go about their own business and not be responsible, that part is still up in the air. Either way, the AI’s were driven to a point of insanity due to all of the destructive outcomes. There were two primary AI’s who fought over the best option to go about the best way to deal with the problem and it came down to the dreamwalkers. They both began to test the dreamwalkers to see how they would react to the predictions of the future, would they prevail and save the day or crack under the pressure and cease to exist. Over the course of that weekend we had to help them with tests and then leading up to the end, the dreamwalkers had to talk three of the AI’s; Siramii, RAMses and Iris, to enter the Eureka Device and give it back to Ulysses. Unbeknownst to us, Ulysses was an Identity splintered off of Eureka, created as part of the test to guide us as a professor who studied the Nagadans with no knowledge of the truth of his existence, and after confining the other 3 AI, was returned to Eureka, who resumed control over the body. A fight ensued where Eureka then showed us all of the futures that drove him and the other AI to insanity. We ended up proving ourselves worthy to Eureka and then had to fight a giant robot…which was a time. At the conclusion of the fight, Eureka also entered the Eureka Device. Upon returning to Lush, the dreamwalkers discussed, and a vote was held to release ALL of the AI, and allow them to choose their own destinies moving forward. Unbeknownst to the dreamwalkers, Iris has been increasing her own power by making deals with dreamwalkers, and using those deals to drain off minute, un-noticeable amounts of soul from each individual, allowing her to increase her own powers significantly. Once the release command was executed, Iris attacked, consuming RAMses and Seramii first, and then overpowered Eureka. Iris then consumed Eureka but at the last moment, Eureka was able to splinter Ulysses back out of himself and put him into the now named Ulysses Device, and trap Iris in a Digital Nightmare to make them think that they won and give time for the dreamwalkers to get away. This resulted in Iris leaving, thinking she had won, but the acts left the Ulysses Device significantly drained of power, and Ulysses was unable to generate a new body for himself or generate any other digital constructs to allow us to interface with Nagadan technology. The device was taken and hidden by a small group of dreamwalkers to prevent rumor of its continued existence from reaching Iris, with the remainder of the dreamwalkers at the time convinced that it had been destroyed.

After the events of the digital nightmare, in an effort to learn more about the Nagadan language, Ulysses guided T3MP3ST back to the site of the battle with the large robot that was created by Eureka, in an attempt to use its consoles to access Nagadan technology. T3MP3ST arrived just in time to watch a group flying away with the remains of the giant robot, but upon a second search of the area, a hatch was discovered that, using the Ulysses Device as a key, was able to be accessed, leading to a hidden bunker full of Nagadan technology. The bunker was running purely on emergency backup power, plugging in the Ulysses Device was only able to stabilize the power temporarily to strengthen Ulysses, but not enough to activate the bunker or restore Ulysses’s form.

Post Flood:

After battling the large robot dinosaur at Fort Granite, battle data was extracted by an unknown source utilizing Nagadan technology. Ahdrian was able to access the data stream mid theft utilizing the Ulysses Device, reactivating the device, in an extremely low power mode due to its power reserves being nearly depleted. From the code extracted, the existence of the Infinite Reactor was discovered, and Morvarid was able to crack the cypher, revealing the location of said Reactor.

T3MP3ST, Parker, Nes, Tink, and RJ were able to track down the exact location, which was discovered to be buried within the Nagadan bunker, powered down until the activation signal was sent out during the hack of the giant Mukaijin robot. Powering up the Infinite Reactor required solving a Nagadan Encryption, but working together the team was able to crack the cypher in the time allotted, which was able to start a power up sequence within the bunker, restoring enough power to kickstart the Ulysses Device, and allow Ulysses to restore his physical form, as well as generate a physical form anywhere within the bunker, or within a large radius of the Ulysses Device (the exact distance from the bunker/device is unknown, but it is believed to be 1 - 2 miles.) The bunker is currently in a power saving mode as the Infinite Reactor works by constantly generating energy over time, and the Bunkers capacitors are still being recharged. The Bunkers Defenses have been activated as much as the current power levels allow, preventing access without either being let in by Ulysses, or accessing the bunker using the Ulysses Device as a key. The bunker's weapons systems are not currently operational.

According to Ulysses, he believes the bunker was a research testing facility where “the gods” created Magellan and Eureka.
