Factions are organizations inside of the Dreaming which may contract with Dreamwalkers in order to pursue their goals. They can be divided into two categories: Active and Defunct factions. Active factions are currently operational in the present day, whereas defunct factions are factions that existed in the past but for whatever reason no longer exist in that form or under that name.
